In many cases the source code for these utilities is available for you to download so as to provide you the ability to enhance these programs yourself.

This is an updated version of the CDO Event Registration Tool (commonly known as TransWiz) that was included as part of a sample SMTP Event Sink in an early SDK for Exchange 2000. The original version had a small bug that would cause it to fail when run on systems with multiple SMTP or NNTP virtual servers; that bug is eliminated with this version.

MailBasket Lite is a free utility from TurboGeeks that catches ALL of emails that arrive at your server for a single domain and redirects them to a single mailbox. It is similar in function to the example code that Microsoft provides in KnowledgeBase article 315631, however it includes a number of improvements including:

• The alternate delivery address can be within the domain that the message was originally sent to (e.g., any address "@turbogeeks.com" may be redirected to postmaster@turbogeeks.com)
• A configuration applet to set and update operating parameters is included
• An installation / uninstallation program is included

Note that unlike our full featured product, MailBasket Lite redirects ALL email for the domain to a SINGLE mailbox - it does not differentiate between valid and invalid addresses. It is suitable for situations where you want one mailbox to receive ALL emails for a single domain.
